Unknown Mind: Viyan’s Diary – Part 7: Whispers Before the Leap

🧠 **Unknown Mind: Viyan’s Diary – Part 7: Whispers Before the Leap**

Some nights aren’t dark because there’s no light.

They’re dark because your mind becomes a storm.

This was that night.

---

I sat outside on a cement bench.

Staring at the hospital gate.

And suddenly, I felt it —

That whisper from inside me:

> “What if I just walk away?”

> “What if I disappear into silence… forever?”

My legs shook. My fingers went cold.

---

And then…

A message popped up.

> **Yalini:**

> *"Where are you?"*

I didn’t reply.

Another message.

> *“You don’t have to talk. Just share your location.”*

I stared at it.

And then — without thinking —

I clicked **Share Location**.

---

Fifteen minutes later, she appeared.

No makeup. No words.

Just **a milk packet** in one hand

and **a crumpled handwritten note** in the other.

She gave it to me and walked away.

---

The note said:

> *"If you ever feel like ending it…

>

> End the pain.

>

> Not the person."*

> *"You are not the bad chapter.

> You’re the author who’s still writing."*

---

I read it ten times that night.

And something inside me…

*snapped back*.

Not fully healed.

Not fully okay.

But enough to whisper:

> “I’m not walking away.

> I’m walking through it.”

A Raw Chapter from My Master's Degree Life and My Fight for Self-Worth After completing my undergraduate degree at the age of 20, I carried more than just a B grade — I carried mental scars . I had gone through years of public judgment, inner struggles, and trauma from daily bullying, especially on buses and in classrooms. Because of all that, I took a two-year break before continuing my education. I needed time to breathe. To heal. To understand what I really wanted. People thought I dropped out. That I was done. But they didn’t know — I was only just beginning. 🎓 The Master's Journey — A Life of Experience, Not Just Books When I finally stepped into my postgraduate college , I was around 21. That phase of life was different. I had faced the world , stood up for my dignity before, and word had spread. Many students already knew about me — about the guy who punched back on a bus when mocked, about the one who stood strong despite being judged. Because of that, no one dare...
